TRANSPORTATION SERVICES

Preble County Veteran Service Commissions goal is to ensure our Veterans are able to attend their VA medical appointments. Once the appointment is completed, they are also ensured transportation home as well.

Transportation is provided through a contract entered into by us and a local vendor. At least 24 hours notice is REQUIRED for all appointments.

The application process for transportation is as follows:

• Proof of military service is required. Must have DD-214 on file with the Preble County Veterans Service office. Only Veterans that meet the definition outlined in ORC 5901.01 are eligible.
• Proof of VA medical appointment is REQUIRED prior to scheduling any transportation appointments. It is the responsibility of the Veteran to provide this.
• Must reside in Preble County for at least 90 days
